Kaohsiung Ship Breaking Yard—Homage to Chen Ting-Shih

The Kaohsiung ship-breaking industry (old ship dismantling industry) is an important page in the economic history of Taiwan and the development history of Kaohsiung. However, due to environmental pollution, industrial safety accidents and residents' struggles, the ship-breaking industry hopes that the dying old man will enter the upcoming history. The reputation of the "Ship-breaking Kingdom" has become an important memory for Kaohsiung people.
The ship-breaking yard is the "crematorium" of ships. They drift on the sea and work for a lifetime. The ship-breaking yard is their final destination. In the process of disintegration, they slowly emerge! Like sculptures... although it gradually disappears, it reminds many Kaohsiung people of their sweaty and hard-working past.

高雄拆船場－向陳庭詩致敬 2014
高雄拆船業（舊船解體業）是台灣經濟史、高雄發展史上重要的一頁。然而環境的污染、工安事故及居民的抗爭，拆船業它就好像行將就木的遲暮老人，即將走進歷史，「拆船王國」的美名變成高雄人的重要記憶
拆船場－船隻的「火葬場」，在海上漂流、工作一輩子，拆船場是它們最後的歸宿，它們在這解體過程中，慢慢羽化！宛如一座座雕塑品....它雖逐漸消失了，但卻喚起多少高雄人在那段流汗、打拚的過往風華！
